Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED:  Users of eXtreme Scale who use the          *
*                  eXtremeMemory (XM) function.                *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using transactions with            *
*                      thousands of operations each, XM        *
*                      replication can hit a limit that        *
*                      causes errors.                          *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
The XM code was updated to handle transactions with large
numbers of operations being replicated by batching up the data
that is sent from the native address space to the Java
address space.

Problem conclusion

  • An interim fix is available for this APAR upon request.
