APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
Client is using tooling to load-test their RAA instance and found that in some scenarios, many connections to the database were kept open, which affected other simulated user processes when trying to get new connections.
Local fix
raising maxPoolSize in Connection Manager setting (e.g. as explained for WAS Liberty Profile here: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSAW57_8.5.5/com.i bm.websphere.wlp.nd.doc/ae/twlp_tun.html) may help to work around this issue.
Problem summary
Connections from multiple requests for a given user are all shareable such that closing a Connection does not allow it to immediately be reused by another thread.
Problem conclusion
Added the Unshareable property to the local resource definition for datasource jdbc/DMHDB, and updated the product to use the local definition.
Temporary fix
