Problem summary

• USERS AFFECTED:
  COBOL for AIX users with STL relative and indexed files may be
  affected by this issue.
  
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  START could return FS=30 for a valid, extant, record. The return
  code from START was improperly checked, causing
  failures once a file grows to ?4.5GB in size.
  

Problem conclusion

• The return code checking has been corrected.
