Error description

  • Command DELETE QL(QnameA) QSGDISP(SHARED) results in
    CSQM099I ;CSQ1 CSQMUQLC QLOCAL(QueueA) NAME IN USE AS A
    DIFFERENT TYPE
    CSQM090E ;CSQ1 CSQMUQLC FAILURE REASON CODE X'00D44001'

This can occur when a DEFINE QLOCAL(QueueA) LIKE(QueueB) is
issued on QMA shortly after QueueB has been deleted on QMB. This
results in the control blocks for QueueA being made with
MQSH.fQLogicDel set (MQSH.fQLogicDel was set for QueueA by
CSQMKATM and is propogated to QueueB).

The MQOPEN for this shared queue fails with MQRC 2201
    MQRC_NAME_IN_USE.

    ****************************************************************
The problem happens when defining a new shared queue using
    command DEFINE QL(xxx) LIKE(yyy) QSGDISP(SHARED) and the
queue LIKE(yyy) has been deleted in other queue manager in QSG.

The define command fails with messages CSQM099I and CSQM090E
reason code X'00D44001' but the queue is created with some bad
state flags copied from the LIKE(yyy) queue that is in the
process of deletion resulting in the open and the delete command
    failures.

Problem conclusion

  • The process of command DEFINE QL(xxx) LIKE(yyy) QSGDISP(SHARED)
has been updated to check if LIKE(yyy) queue is in the process
to be deleted then the define command fails with message
    CSQM104I and CSQM090E reason code X'00D44007'.
