Error description

  • When issuing ALTER CFSTRUCT from within the WebSphere MQ
    panels, the command completes with CSQM174E CSQMACFS
    CFCONLOS' KEYWORD IS NOT ALLOWED WITH CFLEVEL(x)
    THIS KEYWORD REQUIRES CFLEVEL(y)
    CSQM090E SPP7 CSQMACFS FAILURE REASON CODE X'00D44004'
    CSQ9023E SPP7 CSQMACFS ' ALTER CFSTRUCT' ABNORMAL
    COMPLETION
    If, instead, ALTER CFSTRUCT is issued from the
    console, the command completes successfully with
    CSQ9022I. Change Team finds the problem with the
    Ops and Control panels is that CSQORCMD always
    specifies CFCONLOS in the ALTER CFSTRUCT command
    regardless of the CFLEVEL.

    * KEYWORD IS NOT ALLOWED WITH CFLEVEL(x) *
    *                      - THIS KEYWORD REQUIRES CFLEVEL(5)      *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When CSQORCMD builds the DEFINE CFSTRUCT or ALTER CFSTRUCT from
    the values specified in the panels, it always includes the
    CFCONLOS attribute when connected to a queue manager at V710 or
    above. However, this keyword is only valid if the structure is
    CFLEVEL 5 or higher.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQORCMD is changed to only include CFCONLOS in the built
    command if the CFSTRUCT is of CFLEVEL 5 or higher.
