  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: User creates an accelerator-only table  *
  *                      with the WITH RESTRICT ON DROP option   *
  *                      specified, but cannot drop the table    *
  *                      because ALTER TABLE is restricted for   *
  *                      accelerator-only tables.                *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Users can create accelerator-only tables with the
  WITH RESTRICT ON DROP option specified. Afterwards, the table
  can only be dropped if it is altered to remove the
  WITH RESTRICT ON DROP attribute.
  
  However, all ALTER TABLE options on accelerator-only tables are
  restricted. This prevents accelerator-only tables with the
  WITH RESTRICT ON DROP attribute from being altered to remove the
  attribute and prevents them from being dropped.
  
  Users who attempt to DROP such a table receive SQLCODE -672:
  "OPERATION DROP NOT ALLOWED ON TABLE table-name".
  
  Users who attempt to ALTER the table to remove the attribute
  receive SQLCODE -650, REASON 28: "ALTER TABLE is not allowed
  when the table is an accelerator-only table."
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 has been modified to allow the following ALTER TABLE options
  for accelerator-only tables:
  - ADD RESTRICT ON DROP
  - DROP RESTRICT ON DROP
  
  Users can now alter accelerator-only tables to add or remove the
  WITH RESTRICT ON DROP attribute.
  
  The IBM Knowledge Center documentation for DB2 10 and 11 for
  z/OS will be modified as follows:
  - The ALTER TABLE statement topic will state that only the
    RESTRICT ON DROP options can be specified for accelerator-only
    tables.
  - The SQLCODE -650, REASON 28 documentation will state that only
    the RESTRICT ON DROP options can be specified for
    accelerator-only tables.
