Error description
This APAR supports the PSB Map Viewer, which is the IMS Library Integrity Utilities extension for Management Console, to view the graphical visualization of a program specifications block (PSB) structure map, the PSB macro source, and the PSB XML document. This APAR addresses the following requirments: RFE38882 Incorporate other control block LIU functions into Admin Console. RFE64081 Viewing PSB Map in Management Console is not supported. Just DBD Map is supported.

It can display the PSB Map for each database PCB, PCB List, source and XML document of a PSB. - Cross Reference, to list PSBs and logical DBDs that refer to a specific DBD. - New drop down menu Resource type is added to Resource view and user can select Programs(PSB) to list PSBs. Enhancement of existing functions: - Showing DBDGEN date/time and generated IMS version at resource list and properties view of database resources. - Showing list of source DB list at the database dashboard of a logical DBD. Usability improvements: - Supporting new look and feel provided by IBM Management Console for IMS and DB2 for z/OS V1R1. - Showing "Now loading..." message and icon when loading resource list. +--------------------------------------------------------------+ Apply the following APARs to enable this functional enhancements: - APAR PI15697 of IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS V2R2 (FMID=H27P220). - APAR PI50759 of IMS Tools Discovery Utilities of IMS Tools Base for z/OS V1R5 (FMID=HAHN150). - APAR PI60051 of Management Console for IMS and DB2 for z/OS V1R1 (FMID=HDYW110). If this APAR PI60051 is not applied, the new function and all of the existing functions of DBD/PSB map Viewer do not work. How to confirm that the APAR PI60051 is applied: - For Windows, start Installation Manager from the Windows Start menu. Next, click File > View installed packages. Confirm the version of IBM Management Console for IMS and DB2 for zOS is 1.1.0.8 or later. - For z/OS, use Installation Manager command JCL, which is provided as GIN3CMD member in SGINJCL data set of Installation Manager. Change the command line in the SYSRSIN DD to listInstalledPackages and run the jcl. Confirm the line begins with com.ibm.imac_ ends with 1.5.7.20160329_2340 or later. +--------------------------------------------------------------+

After the SMP/E RECEIVE and APPLY process is complete, this installation repository must be installed on Windows or z/OS by Installation Manager. - On Windows, complete the following steps: - Get the installation repository from z/OS. - Launch Installation Manager from the Windows Start menu and add the installation repository to Installation Manager. - Click Install. - On z/OS, complete the following steps: - Customize and run the Installation Manager job, FABLIINS, which is located in the SHPSBASE data set. - After you successfully run the FABLIINS job, confirm the job output as follows: 1. The version of installed package is com.ibm.imac.liu_2.2.0.20160412_0930 2. The repository was installed in the Management Console installation directory. After the update procedure by Installation Manager, complete the following procedure to use PSB Map Viewer and Cross Reference: 1. Submit the IMS Tools Discovery Utility (HKTDDSCO) batch job to discover the PSBs from PSBLIB. 2. Add IMS Library Integrity Utilities Component at Set up> Environments on Management Console. 3. Click the Validate button and Save button of IMS Library Integrity Utilities Component at Set up> Environments on Management Console. 4. Click the Discover button of IMS Tools Knowledge Base component at Set up> Environments on Management Console.
