Error description
mod_filter works as expected if the page that is returned from WebSphere Plugin has a return code of 200, but does not work if attempting to post and process pages with any error codes.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the mod_filter module with error * * response codes returned by WebSphere * * Plugin * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: mod_filter is unable to process pages * * with a non-200 response code from * * WebSphere Plugin * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this fix * **************************************************************** mod_filter normally only runs filters on responses with HTTP status 200 (OK). If you want to filter documents with other response statuses, you can set the 'filter-errordocs' environment variable, and it will work on all responses regardless of status. To refine this further, you can use expression conditions with 'FilterProvider'.
Problem conclusion
Support was added for filtering non-200 status codes. This fix is targeted for IBM HTTP Server fix packs: - 7.0.0.41 - 8.0.0.12 - 8.5.5.9
