Problem summary


    

  • The information logged in the JZOS 121.1 SMF record does not
contain detailed CPU consumption information nor thread detail.
Also, the SMF record is logged only during JVM shutdown.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The JZOS batch launcher has been updated so that it can be
configured to log SMF records at a set periodic interval. In
addition, CPU consumption data and Java thread detail has been
added to the JZOS 121.1 SMF record.

This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   7 R1 SR3 FP20  (7.1.3.20)
