  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  A remote application connects to a DB2 for z/OS server and
  issues DDL or DML statements for an accelerator-only table.  The
  DDL or DML statements are offloaded to IDAA.  After the
  statements completed, the application issued a ROLLBACK.  DB2
  accounting trace information (IFCID0002) showed the Q8STRBKC
  field (accumulated number of ROLLBACK statements sent to IDAA
  from DB2) was not incremented during ROLLBACK.  Furthermore,
  subsequent DML or DDL offloads receive SQLCODE -30040.
  During ROLLBACK processing, DB2 did not forward the ROLLBACK
  request to IDAA, resulting in an inaccurate Q8STRBKC field.
  Since IDAA did not receive the ROLLBACK request, IDAA did not
  complete clean up of its resources.  This resulted in SQLCODE
  -30040 during subequent offloads.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 has been changed to forward ROLLBACK requests to IDAA
  when the ROLLBACK follows DDL and DML for accelerator-only
  tables.
