  • File Manager Version 13 DB2 Compid 5655Q1200 @ UI26855
they are attempting to View/Edit a DB2 Version 11 table and they
receive abend DSNHLI2- DB2 ABEND code 04E, reason code
 00E7000C. They only receive this abend on certain tables, other
tables work fine.

*                      Additional symptom:  The data displayed *
*                      in the FM/DB2 editor is incorrect.      *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
The problem only occurs when processing DB2 objects that have
a VARCHAR column with an odd number of characters.
calculation can result in data overlays when retrieving data
from DB2, resulting in either incorrectly displayed data,
or the ABEND.
Incorrect data is likely for the column immediately to the right
of any VARCHAR column that has an odd length.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • File Manager DB2 component has been changed to correct the
problem.
