PI42583: WHEN ISSUING THE FILE MANAGER FIND COMMAND FOR A DANISH LOWERCASE CHARACTER, IT IS NOT FOUND ALTHOUGH IT EXISTS.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When issuing the File Manager FIND command for a lowercase
  Danish national character using File Manager
  base or File Manager/DB2, the character is not found although
  it exists in the data being searched.  If the
  lowercase Danish national character is included in a string
  with other characters, then the Danish lowercase
  character is found in the data when using FM/DB2, but not found
  when using FM base. Customer is using codepage 277 Denmark.
