Error description
During the process of gathering replication status a lot of memory is consumed on the containers. If this function is not available, there should be a mechanism to disable it to avoid garbage collection (GC) pauses from the memory consumption.

This can consume a lot of memory on the containers. As a result you can see unreachable objects piling up in the tenured memory waiting to get added to the garbage collection.
Problem conclusion
A hook was added to disable or enable replication state polling in xscmd.
