  • The NullPointerException is thrown when the application changes
    or gets page titles and descriptions via ModifiableLocalized

Problem summary

    *                  multiple web container and EJB containers   *
    *                  running on the same thread.                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A null pointer exception is thrown      *
    *                      in the internationalization EJB post    *
    *                      invoke when running after a             *
    *                      web container postinvoke.               *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The EJB container post invoke was trying to use a thread
    context that didn't exist.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The EJB container post invoke in internationalization won't
    try to use the thread context if it doesn't exist.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.0.0.11, 8.5.5.7.  Please refer to the Recommended
