Error description
A hang during shutdown and restart is observed in the admin agent if the queue manager is shutdown before any execution groups have received and processed their startup messages. This hang does not occur if the queue manager is cancelled/terminates abnormally or if the execution groups have already processed their startup messages. Platforms affected: z/OS, MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A hang during shutdown and restart is observed in the admin agent if the queue manager is shutdown before any execution groups have received and processed their startup messages. This hang does not occur if the queue manager is cancelled/terminates abnormally or if the execution groups have already processed their startup messages. The hang occurs because the Admin Agent waits for the execution groups to end, but has never signalled them to terminate. Problem conclusion
