    *                  Server V7.0                                 *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The WC_ADMIN_HOST* endpoints are *
    *                      missing from the serverindex.xml        *
    *                      after running the                       *

    * This is causing issues for syncNode *
    * and other commands because the *
    * transport chain is incorrect. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If the old transport config model has not been updated due to a
    past migration and you are migrating that profile forward again
    then the convertScriptCompatibility tool will mistakingly
    remove the WC_ADMIN* endpoints. Thus causing the communication
    problems for the server.

Problem conclusion

  • A previous fix did not take into account the possibility
    that the old transport model was migrated from an older release
    into a newer release configuration, which resulted in the
    WC_ADMIN* endpoints being removed when migrating forward a
    second time. An additional check was added for the above
    condition and these endpoints will not be removed during
    migration or when running the convertScriptCompatibility tool.
    The converScriptCompatibility tool cause the old transport
    config to be update to the channel architecture.
