PI29936: MISSING COMMA IN IXB BATCH JOB RESULTED IN PROBLEM WITH THE WRKKFLE CREATION

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User has IXB batch job. Certain FM parms are passed in on the
  SYSIN statement. A missing comma caused a few parms to be
  ignored. It was expected that the parms would be picked up from
  default FM options, but the job received these messages:
  
  FMNBE000 E(00024 00024) CYL(10 10)  MGMTCLAS(SHORTERM) )
  FMNBE000 IDC3186I INVALID VOLUME SERIAL SPECIFIED
  FMNIB426 Function terminated
  FMNBE098 Keyword verification discontinued for any subsequent
           command
  

Local fix

• Adding the missing comma will result in successful execution of
  the job.

  The Extract should use the Root Keys and Logical Keys data set
  allocation options specified in the FM/IMS installation options
  module when these options are not specified in the FMIMSIN input
  for the Extract job.
  

Problem conclusion

• FM/IMS has been modified to correct this problem.
