PI27833: DSNTIJEN FAILS AT STEP ENFM0027 WITH MSGDSNU341I STATING IMAGE COPY WAS NOT TAKEN BUT SYSIBM.SYSCOPY SHOWS IMAGE COPY WAS TAKEN

Error description

• DSNTIJEN step ENFM0027 Reorg statement failed with:
  DSNU341I  -Z1T8 282 07:27:39.01 DSNURFIT - IMAGE COPY MUST BE
  TAKEN BEFORE REORG CAN BE RUN ON A DB2 CATALOG OR DIRECTORY
  TABLESPACE: DSNDB01.SPT01.
  The user already has taken an image copy of DSNDB01.SPT01. Query
  of SYSIBM.SYSCOPY shows that SPT01 had a full image copy taken.
  REPORT RECOVERY does not show any image copy support for SPT01.
  The issue occurred when customer is in DB2 10 for z/OS CM mode.

  The internal structure for index DSNUCH01 on table
  SYSIBM.SYSCOPY was incorrect.  A select from this table that
  uses the index DSNUCH01 would return incorrect values for the
  DBNAME.
  

Problem conclusion

• The DSNTIJEN job would use index DSNUCH01 to look for an image
  copy before the ENFM steps are processed.  Because the internal
  structure was incorrect DSNTIJEN would not see the image copy
  and issue message DSNU341I indicating that the image copy is
  needed and stops the DSNTIJEN job.  Code has been added to
  correct the internal structure when the catalog DBD is loaded so
  the image copy will be seen when the DSNUCH01 index is used.
