APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A query having a WHERE clause comparing TIME(timestamp column)
with a column created as TIME returned 0 rows when running on
    the accelerator.
Without IDAA rows where selected for the same query.
TIME format on accelerator includes microseconds, so needs to be
truncated to compare with an DB2 on z/OS time format.

    ****************************************************************
This APAR fixes possible incorrect output when a query with the
TIME() scalar function is executed on an accelerator when the
expression is a timestamp data type. The hour, minute, second
and fractional seconds are included in the result of TIME()
when executed on an accelerator. The correct behavior for
TIME() is to return the hour, minute, and second.
