  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. The following problems are           *
  *                      encountered when processing MQ queue    *
  *                      names greater than 35 characters.       *
  *                      a. MSGFMNBC307 "Open Queue failed" is   *
  *                         issued when copying, creating data,  *
  *                         comparing, editing, printing or      *
  *                         viewing MQ queues with names         *
  *                         greater than 35 characters in        *
  *                         FM/Base.                             *
  *                      b. MSGFMNBE884 "Cannot contain ':'      *
  *                         x'7A'" is issued when copying,       *
  *                         creating data, comparing, editing,   *
  *                         printing or viewing MQ queues        *
  *                         with 48 character names in           *
  *                         FM/BASE.                             *
  *                      c. The JCL generated in Create data,    *
  *                         Copy, Compare and Print contained    *
  *                         truncated MQ queue names when the    *
  *                         MQ name was greater than 35          *
  *                         characters in length.                *
  *                      d. MSGFMNBC307 "Open Queue failed" is   *
  *                         issued when viewing or editing MQ    *
  *                         queues with names greater than 35    *
  *                         characters in the FM client.         *
  *                      e. MSGFMNBE884 "Cannot contain ':'      *
  *                         x'7A'" is issued when viewing or     *
  *                         editing 48 character MQ queue        *
  *                         names in the FM client.              *
  *                      2. MSGFMNBB553 "File or directory       *
  *                      does not exist for path xxxx' issued    *
  *                      when a batch job has a HFS file name    *
  *                      specified that is split over            *
  *                      multiple lines.                         *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  1. File Manager  is not handling MQ names greater than 35
     characters in length.
  2. File Manager is not correctly parsing the HFS file name when
     it's name is split over multiple lines.
  

Problem conclusion

• File Manager has been modified to resolve these problems.
