Error description

  • With File Manager V12 (using FM Base, DB2, or CICS) when using a
a predefined template or copybook an ABEND0C4 is raised.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a copybook contains long names and   *
*                      redefine clauses, then running format   *
*                      SNGL may cause an ABENDS0C4 if the      *
*                      screen width is 80 and the option       *
*                      to show redefined fields in the SNGL    *
*                      display has been selected.              *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
****************************************************************
File Manager is not allowing for the extra line required when
a redefines clause takes more than one line to format.
