APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • User submits a batch DSC job with over 1,500 IF statements in
the procedure.  Sometime after processing 900 of them, the
jobstep abends with an S0C4.

Local fix

  • Break job into multiple jobsteps with fewer than 900 IF
statements.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An ABENDS0C4 occurs in program          *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

Problem conclusion
