Error description

  • When running FM/DB2 batch DBC function, and attempting to copy
    a remote table to a local table, receive the following messages:
    
     FMNDB094 OBJOUT DB2 object not found.
     FMNBB291 The user canceled the function, or the function could
      not be performed
    
    OBJIN and OBJOUT specify two different table names, the local
    table (OBJOUT) exists on the local subsystem, but not on the
    remote subsystem.

    *                      found." issued by an FM/DB2 batch copy  *
    *                      job, copying from a remote to local     *
    *                      DB2 object.  The output object exists   *
    *                      at the local server, but not at the     *
    *                      remote server.                          *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    The check for existence of the output object is erroneously
    made at the remote server (rather than the local server).
    

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager DB2 component has been updated to correct the
    problem.
