The x'200' bytes block pool was occupied by PB0X. Many PB0Xs were orphan. No PB0 pointed most of them. It looks like PB0X was missed to free when PB0 was freed.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: DB2 users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Storage leak in the ABPSP3 ("POOL FOR * * BB1RMID") pool, which may result in * * ABEND04E RC00E2000C and possible DB2 * * subsystem termination. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** DB2 may not free a PB0 extension block (PB0X) when it frees the PB0 for a closed non-partitioned table space or index. Over time, these orphan PB0X blocks may consume enough space so that storage requests fail, resulting in an ABEND04E RC00E2000C. In some cases, this abend may cause DB2 to crash.
Problem conclusion
The code which frees PB0 blocks at DB2 checkpoints and buffer pool deletions has been modified to ensure that the PB0X block is also correctly freed.
