    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SQLCODE-104 using the File Manager DB2 *
    * component copy utility, copying from *
    * one location to another, with update *
    *                      of existing rows.                       *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    The target table has these indexes:
    . IX1, an index defined as 'UNIQUE WHERE NOT NULL'
    . IX2, an index defined as 'UNIQUE', all columns in the index
      key are defined as 'NOT NULL'.
    An insert into the target table that results in SQLCODE-803
    against IX1 results in an SQL statement to update that row with
    a WHERE clause that has no predicates, resulting in the observed
    SQLCODE -104.

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager DB2 component has been updated to correct the
    problem.
