*                 PCTFREE_UPD AUTO system zparm                *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The free space for each data page       *
*                      is not reserved for an object that's    *
*                      already created prior to the enablement *
*                      of system zparm PCTFREE_UPD AUTO        *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
When system zparm PCTFREE_UPD AUTO was enabled, then it only
applied to objects that were subsequently newly created.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DB2 logic is modified to honor the zparm setting as soon as
the system zparm PCTFREE_UPD AUTO is enabled.
