Error description

A RST packet is sent on a connection if data is left in the OS
TCP buffers

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The HTTP Channel could cause the        *
*                      Operating System to send an RST         *
*                      packet when the connection is closed    *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

When the HTTP Channel closes the connection after a request is
complete there could be a few bytes left in the Operating
System TCP buffers. If this happens the connection will be
closed by the Operating System with a RST packet rather
than a FIN packet.

Problem conclusion

A new custom property will have the HTTP Channel read until
it's told there is no more data when it's going to close the
connection. The new custom property is:

PurgeDataDuringClose(true/false:default-false)

To set an HTTP Channel custom property please follow these

They are the same for all versions of WebSphere Application
Server.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.35, 8.0.0.10, and 8.5.5.3.  Please refer to
