    ****************************************************************
WebSphere eXtreme Scale assumes that a JSESSIONID cookie is
either not present (null) or present with a valid session
value. However, if an application has set the JSESSIONID to an
empty string (or invalid value) (for example, during an
application logout), then eXtreme Scale does not handle the
unexpected value and produces an exception in the logs.

Problem conclusion

  • WebSphere eXtreme Scale now handles empty string (and invalid
values) for JSESSIONID and no longer produces an exception.
