APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PmiName is used as the cfkey and since we are using the
startsWith it has made the reference Null for all the
PoolManagers that satisfied the condition, hence we are getting
    NullPointerException.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
With WMQ JMS resource adapter the connection factory name
starts with $JMSManagedConnection@. The PmiName which is
the connection factory name is used as the cfkey used in
stopping the connection factory, and when there is some
connectivity problem with WMQ, stop is called to stop the
connection factory with the cfkey. The PoolManager
references of all the connections which starts with that
    cfkey are marked as null.

Problem conclusion

  • A delimiter has been added in the connection factory long key
and during the connection factory stop that delimiter is used
to get the exact connection factory name which has to be
stopped. Only that connection factory is stopped and the
PoolManager reference of that connection factory is marked as
    null.
