Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED:  WebSphere eXtreme Scale 8.6.0.4 users with  *
    *                  eXtremeMemory (XM), Native Overflow (NOF),  *
    *                  and asynchronous replication enabled.       *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A container terminates and a system     *
    *                      core file is generated.                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    During heavy client load, an interaction between an eviction
    of a cache entry and asynchronous replication may result in
    segmentation fault (general protection fault).
    

Problem conclusion

  • An update to the eXtremeMemory library is now available to
    eliminate the timing window responsible for this error. Users
    are recommended to move up to the latest fixpack.
