APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • ITCAM fails if the expanded value of the generic JVM arguments
exceeds 4096 bytes. Some properties may be truncated and as a
result the DC may not start.

Local fix

  • Remove -Xnm parm or any additional parms which increase the JVM
arguments longer than 4096 bytes.

Problem summary

  • ITCAM now accepts arguments longer than 4096 bytes.
