Error description

  • If a Debug Tool user is in DISASSEMBLY mode and issues STEP
while stopped at an SVC instruction, Debug Tool does not stop
at the next statement (i.e., it acts as if GO was entered).

Local fix

  • Two work arounds suggested:
1 In disassembly mode, set a breakpoint after the SVC 8 before
    issuing the STEP command.
2 Debug in assembler mode using EQALANGX.
