* USERS AFFECTED:  All users who install IBM WebSphere         *

*                  Installation Manager after v7.0.0.25,       *
*                  v8.0.0.5, and v8.5.0.1                      *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: when installing fix packs on            *
*                      Installation Manager 64bit,             *
*                      Installation Manager will display an    *
*                      error.                                  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
64-bit Installation Manager will check if the offering
supports Installation Manager 64 or not by checking the
offering property "offering.supports.64bit.im", if not,
Installation Manager will display the error.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Append the property "offering.supports.64bit.im" to offerings
for WebSphere Application Server fix packs to remove a warning
when using Installation Manager 64.
The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.25, 8.0.0.5, and 8.5.0.1. Please refer to the
