Error description

  • You're using the NPTESTS procedure in SPSS Statistics
    (Analyze>Nonparametric Tests) with a Kruskal-Wallis or other
test that offers pairwise comparisons following a significant
omnibus test. In looking at the graph you expect the distances
between the points represented to be related to the distances
between mean ranks or significance levels of comparisons, but
that appears not to be the case.

This problem has been reported to SPSS Development and will be
fixed in a future release. The distances between the points are
supposed to be related to the relative values of the adjusted
significances of the comparisons. We apologize for any resulting
    inconvenience.
