* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When starting large environments,       *
*                      heartbeating causes servers to be       *
*                      started and stopped repeatedly.         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
Heartbeating during large environment startups causes servers
to be started and stopped repeatedly. The system is never fully
started.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • New xscmd commands and mbeans were added to allow heartbeating t
be suspended during startup of large environments to avoid this
issue.
