Error description

• MQ Development finds that there is a storage leak when
  processing DISPLAY CHSTATUS commands with filters - this leads
  to a gradual accumulation of storage in the 'MMC DISPLAY POOL'
  PHB matching that seen in dump review. In the case of this APAR
  this has exhausted almost all of the available storage for the
  queue manager address space.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When running a DISPLAY CHSTATUS(*)      *
  *                      SHORT command, it is possible for a     *
  *                      storage leak to occur. As a result of   *
  *                      this, an abend may occur.               *
  ****************************************************************
  The code which handles the current channel status leaks storage
  when determining that the current shared channel status should
  not be displayed. Over time this leaked storage built up which
  resulted in a queue manager becoming short on storage and
  subsequently abending.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to free storage in the event that the
  current channel does not match the filter. As a result, storage
  no longer leaks and therefore the subsequent abend does not
  occur.
