Error description

  • When z/OS Connect EE is processing API archive files and the
archive files resource directory contains subdirectories, z/OS
Connect reports the following message:

BAQR7001E: The z/OS Connect EE API archive file in <API_archive>
           is incomplete.

When the z/OS Connect EE API archive files resource/apis
directory contains any subdirectories, z/OS Connect EE reports
message BAQR7001E while processing the subdirectories on
startup.

z/OS Connect EE should not process any subdirectories in the
server's resources/zosconnect/apis directory (or the directory
specified in the zosconnect_zosConnectAPIs location attribute)
when loading the API archive files.

  • z/OS Connect EE has been changed to process only API archive
files in the apis resource directory. This prevents the
subdirectories being processed and so the BAQR7001E message will
not be reported for this reason.

The fix for this APAR is expected to be delivered by the PTF for
z/OS Connect EE V3.0.53.0 (PH42641).
