Error description

• Abend abn=5c6-00E50076 occurred during QMGR shutdown.

  US1,LOC=CSQVGEPL.CSQVEUS1
  In this case, the timer element has expired as the QMGR is
  shutting down. There is serialisation to prevent the task being
  driven during shutdown, but the approach is not completely
  airtight, and can lead to a race condition between the timer
  element task and the shutdown task.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During QMGR shutdown, the Mark table    *
  *                      timeout processor rescheduled a service *
  *                      task which had already been deleted by  *
  *                      the End Stop Work processor, causing a  *
  *                      5C6 abend.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  A timing window in the Mark Table timeout processor allowed it
  to reschedule the Mark Table periodic refresh, despite the QMGR
  shutdown being signalled.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQMESTP has been updated to prevent this issue from occurring.
