Error description

  • A service was defined to use an MQ-triggered IMS transaction.
The output message of this transaction contains
dynamic array structures. Deployment of the service failed with
the following message:

BAQR7085E: Installation of the z/OS Connect EE service archive
   file failed. The service archive file <archive_name>.sar
   exploits capabilities that are not supported by the currently
   running version of the z/OS Connect EE server. Provider: IBM
   MQ for z/OS. Exploited capabilities:
     ibm.services.wvservice.arrayCounter.
   Supported capabilities:
      No capabilities beyond the base capabilities.

Support for the ibm.services.wvservice.arrayCounter capability
was included in z.OS Connect EE V3.0.23.0.

The z/OS Connect EE MQ service provider did not implement the
capabilities support function. When an MQ provider service,
which utilized capabilities beyond the base capabilities (e.g.
array counters), was deployed, the reported error was written.

  • The z/OS Connect EE MQ service provider has been updated to
implement the capabilities function, allowing MQ service
provider services which implement capabilities to be deployed
successfully.

The fix for this APAR is expected to be delivered by the PTF for
z/OS Connect EE V3.0.42.0 (PH32853).
