• This APAR is for integration of similar Tomcat

  are loaded within the EL implementation.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: JSP 2.3 applications using EL 3.0       *
  *                      unscoped or static values may see       *
  *                      longer page load times.                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  By optimizing EL 3.0 context handling and classloader calls,
  the evaluations of EL unscoped and static expressions perform
  better with this fix.  This is a port of Apache bug fix 62453.
  The issue was previously described in informational APAR
  PI92335 and relates to the specification changes in EL 3.0
  that expand the supported evaluation types.
  

Problem conclusion

• EL performance is improved for unscoped and static values.
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for version 9.0.5.7 and
