File Manager scrambling code can result in high CPU
    utilization.

Problem conclusion

  • File Manager has been modified to provide optimization options
for scrambling when REPEAT or RANDOM is defined for various
    fields in the TO template.
The new optimization option OPSCRAM can be specified as follows:
    1. Installation options module (default off).
    2. Providing a $$FILEM SET OPSCRAM=OFF|ON|MAX statement in JCL.
    3. Selecting the required optimization option on the COPY TO
       panel
    The default behaviour is OPSCRAM=OFF.
See the documentation changes for more details.
