Error description

  • CSQMMTPR got abend0c4 and issued a svcdump
during qmgr termination. The abend0c4 was occurred when
attempting to acquire latch. Just before the abend0c4, logrec
shows abend5C6-00E50002.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An abend 0C4 occurred during QMGR       *
*                      termination, in CSQMMTPR, when          *
*                      the scavenger attempted to get a latch  *
*                      on a mark table, which had already been *
*                      deleted by the mark table refresh       *
*                      processing.                             *
****************************************************************
The scavenger task was allowed to run despite the QMGR shutdown
request. It attempted to obtain a latch on the mark table,
despite the mark table having already been freed.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • CSQMMTPR has been updated to prevent this issue from occurring.
