APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There is no obvious means for CDC for z/OS to handle in-doubt
  URs that have been scrapped and are stuck in the staging space.
  The in-doubt URs can occur due to DB2 restart and currently
  there is a lack of external messages and documented procedures
  for handling these in-doubt URs.
  

Local fix

• A refresh can be performed on the subscriptions with the indoubt
  transaction.

  An abnormal shutdown of DB2 for z/OS during replication
  can cause an in-doubt UR to be written in the logs. IIDR CDC
  for z/OS does not correctly handle this in-doubt UR.
  

Problem conclusion

• A new configuration parameter, ONURINDOUBT, is introduced.
  IIDR CDC for z/OS will either COMMIT or ROLLBACK in-doubt
  UR. Default is ROLLBACK.
