PH13648: MQ 9.1: AFTER UPGRADE TO V9.1, DISPLAY CHSTATUS COMMAND SHOWS 999999999 FOR NETTIME FIELD

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Client has upgraded from MQ v9.0.3 to MQ V9.1.0 and NETTIME
  shows as 999999999 for active channels. There is a defect in
  RTC, 213875.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using DISPLAY CHSTATUS(*) ALL,     *
  *                      the NETTIME parameter is showing a time *
  *                      of 999999999.                           *

  An error occurs when converting the end time from the z/OS store
  clock to microseconds. The end time value passed to the
  calculation of NETTIME contains remnants of its previous store
  clock value thus leading to the large number displayed by
  NETTIME.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to correctly convert the end time to
  microseconds, as required in the calculation of NETTIME.
