Error description
During problem analysis, Fault Analyzer can display "Program n/a, Abend 4038" information during CICS Abend diagnosis. The error was caused by message IGZ0278S exceeding the expected length and the flow on effect from this caused unexpected data and hence the incorrect diagnosis of "loop or wait condition".
