Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    * USERS AFFECTED: All users of z/OS Connect EE V3.0. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Message BAQR0409W does not identify the *
    * resource that could not be accessed. *
    ****************************************************************
The BAQR0409W message did not identify the resource that a user
ID did not have sufficient authorization to access. To determine
the resource it was necessary to recreate the problem with z/OS
    Connect EE tracing active.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

Comments

  • Message BAQR0430W has been added to log the resource which the
user ID was not authorized to access:
BAQR0430W: User <user_ID> is not authorized to perform the
               request on resource <URI>.

The original BAQR0409W message will still be written to the
messages.log, trace.log and returned to the client application.
The new BAQR0430W message will be written to the messages.log
and trace.log, but not returned to the client application.

The fix for this APAR is expected to be delivered by the PTF for
    z/OS Connect EE V3.0.24.0 (PH14597).
