Error description

  • When a program is compiled with Cobol 6.2 with options:
    NOTEST(DWARF,NOSOURCE,NOSEPARATE) and NUMBER

Fault Analyzer is unable to locate the listing when the listing
dataset is provided via option DataSet(IDILCOB(...)) or via
    a //IDILCOB DD in batch.

Local fix

  • FA will find the listing if the program is compiled with
NONUMBER instead of NUMBER, and a //IDILCOB DD is provided in
    batch.
