Error description

  • IMS Transaction Isolation has numerous issues if more than one
IMS sub-system is configured for IMS Isolation, and those
sub-systems are at different versions of IMS.  The issues can
include displaying an empty list on z/OS Debugger Utilities
option 4.5 with the message "INVALID IMSID", or displaying a
partial list containing the phrase "TXNNAME".

Local fix

  • In EQAZDFLT, set us5imrsl to point to the IMS RESLIB of the
desired IMS version.
