PH07606: MULTIPLE PROBLEMS IN NEW JOB UI AFTER EDITING THE JOB IN "CLASSIC VIEW"

Error description

  • Editing a job step using the "Classic View" will cause a few
    issues to occur:
    
    1. The job steps start at 2 instead of 1
    2. A new "mobile" delivery option will appear in the delivery
    options of the job step. There is no way to remove this option
    without opening it again in "Classic View" as the mobile
    delivery option does not exist in the new UI
    3. The new job perspective (ie perspective=job) will hang and
    you won't be able to make any other changes to it
    4. Additional changes made in the Classic View will not apply to
    the new UI
    
    This is a problem if you create a new job, or if the jobs are
    migrated from an older version of Cognos Analytics where the
    "classic view" was the only option to modify the jobs.
