PH07006: Report views in Cognos Analytics do not inherit the default format from the parent report for scheduling

Error description

  • When testing the fix for PI94421, it is observed that when a new
    report view is created, it will run in the same format as the
    parent report, but when scheduled, it defaults to HTML format,
    UNLESS a format is explicitly set on the view. The view, when
    created, should start with the same format as the original
    report, for execution and scheduling, unless specifically
    over-ridden.
    

Local fix

  • Manually set a specific format on each report view, rather than
    relying on the default inherited from the parent report.
